about the girl’s project

The Girl’s Project was designed by a licensed educator committed to preparing, inspiring and empowering girls grades 2nd – 8th. Program designers understand from their teaching experience how important it is for girls to feel prepared, inspired and empowered before reaching their high school years. The goal is to build confidence and self-esteem in girls through character, education, project based learning and community service.

The mission is to prepare, inspire, empower. These three tenets are the foundation to propel girls for their bright and confident futures. The program will Prepare girls by engaging in real life relatable experiences. Inspire girls through a series of literature and rich conversations.  Finally, Empower girls by helping them to view themselves as the creators of their own destiny.
Girl’s are encouraged to dream big, for the sky is the limit.

The Girl’s Project Creed

I will not let others thoughts, opinions or fears define me.  I will unapologetically be the best version of myself.  I will remind myself daily that I’m beautiful! Although, I’m not nor will I ever be perfect, I will set high standards for myself because I’m worth it.  I promise to lift up my fellow sisters and support them.  I will not tear them down with my words but lift them up with my love.  I promise to respect and support my community through service.  I promise to stay committed to my education.  I know I determine my success and my failure.  I promise to represent The Girl’s Project each day with pride, dignity and honor.

Each month The Girl’s Project will discuss and participate in themed related activities. Girls will be placed in two groups the mini’s grades 2-5, the junior’s grades 6-8.

Season 2 will begin October 11th and run through June. Registration for Season 2 can be done online or at a registration event.
